A Look Back And A Look Forward....

As we approach the one year anniversary of being at our Knowsley Training Centre, we thought now may be a good time to reflect on what we have done and the exciting projects we are working on for the future…..

The Last 12 months has been an exciting time for us at TRS Training. Relocating in to our bespoke Fork Lift Truck training centre in Knowsley was a busy time, and took a lot of hard work from our team. The hard work was worthwhile, as we have been able to establish ourselves as a leading training provider in the area, delivering training to local companies and people alike, whilst also expanding on the range of training we can deliver.

With the accreditation to deliver Fork Lift Truck training across a variety of different trucks, such as Reach, Counterbalance and Bendi trucks, we have seen numerous happy candidates arrive and leave us with new skills and new qualifications, and the opportunity to gain new or further employment.

We have also been busy delivering NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeships in Warehouse & Storage and Performing Manufacturing Operations (P.M.O) to major clients across the UK. Apprenticeships are a great way for companies to invest and develop their staff in a cost effective manner, leading to greater retention and improving productivity across the workforce.

Delivering quality apprenticeship courses to is something that we take great pride in here at TRS Training, which is shown in the feedback we receive from our candidates and clients. The academic year 2014 – 2015 saw us receive 94% overall satisfaction feedback from our clients, with similar results expected for this year too.

The next 12 months promise to be exciting, busy and challenging for us too…..

Apprenticeship reform will be taking centre stage for many training providers, due to the introduction of the Governments “2020 Vision” which sets out the planned changes to apprenticeships over the next 4 years. With the introduction of a new funding method and new employer designed “standards” we will be working closely with our clients to ensure the changes are fully understood and adopted.

An exciting new project we are developing is the establishing of a CSCS Testing centre here at our Knowsley Training Centre. We are currently going through the accreditation process for this, and once successful we will be able to deliver tests to individuals looking to gain their CSCS card. This should prove to be a great positive for our local community, with the nearest centres being based in Liverpool city centre.

We will be continuing to provide our range of Fork Lift Truck training to candidates and companies alike. A full list of our courses can be found here.

With H&S training, battery charging training, and Crane training also available, this promises to be another busy 12 months for us, so keep checking back here for updates and news.
