The BAR magazine, Removals & Storage featured an article on the new Urban Driver Apprenticeship. The article highlighted TRS Training as BAR’s preferred apprenticeship provider. In particular, the piece pinpointed the reason for the introduction of the new standard. In addition, it explains how the standard ticks the box for employers who may not need their driving staff to gain Cat C+E licences.

So employers who need to train drivers to have their Cat C/C1 licence can now fund this through the Urban Driver Apprenticeship Standard. On the other hand, employers who need drivers with Cat C+E licences can use the LGV Driver Apprenticeship Standard. TRS Training delivers both these apprenticeship standards. British Association of Removers

It is true to say that we are very proud to be an affiliate member of the British Association of Removers (BAR). Furthermore, we have worked in partnership with them on a variety of initiatives, and continue to do so. We highly recommend BAR membership for any organisation working in the removals industry.

For example, benefits include:

  • Enhanced reputation, increased recognition and lead generation.
  • Access to membership of special interest groups.
  • Discounted training.
  • A lobbying voice for the sector to Government.
  • Support and advice.
  • Networking.
  • more!
