A TRS Skills Bootcamp is a short, intensive training programme designed to equip you with the skills needed for specific job roles within the logistics sector. These bootcamps are tailored to meet the needs of the industry, ensuring you gain relevant and in-demand skills.

We offer a variety of logistics-related skills bootcamps, including:

  • International Freight Forwarding
  • Introduction to Transport Management
  • HGV Driving
  • Transport Management & Sustainability

Each skills bootcamp is divided into several modules to provide comprehensive training.

The duration of each skills bootcamp varies, typically ranging from 5 to 16 weeks. Our programmes are designed to be intensive yet flexible, allowing you to fit your training around your other commitments.

Most of our skills bootcamps are offered virtually, providing you with the flexibility to learn from anywhere. However, the HGV driving skills bootcamp requires some in-person driver training to ensure hands-on experience.

Our bootcamps are designed to be flexible, so you can often schedule your training around your existing work commitments. This ensures minimum disruption, allowing you to continue working while you learn new skills.

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate, which can be an industry-recognised qualification or a certificate of achievement, depending on the bootcamp. This certification will validate the new skills you have acquired during your training.

Cost & Funding

There are no costs to you as an individual for attending our skills bootcamps. Whether you are looking to upskill or seeking employment, the training is provided at no charge to you.

Eligibility

Yes, there are specific eligibility criteria for enrolling in a skills bootcamp:

  • You must be aged 19 or over.
  • You must live or work in the geographic area covered by the funding.
  • You must not have undertaken another skills bootcamp in the same financial year.

Absolutely! If you are unemployed, you will be offered a job interview at the end of your course. The skills you gain during the bootcamp are exactly what employers are looking for, giving you a high chance of securing a job.
