This course is for anyone who wants a category C (class 2) HGV licence to begin a career in logistics.

During your training, you’ll develop the practical skills required to become a safe and competent category C driver. You will learn:

Training is delivered at one of our driver training schools by highly qualified HGV instructors in modern vehicles.

Your instructor will prepare you for the official DVSA practical driving assessment, which includes:

• Vehicle safety questions
• Module 3A reversing exercise
• Module 3B on-road practical driving test with a DVSA Examiner

Your practical tests will only be booked when your instructor is confident you are ready.

On successful completion, you will achieve your category C (Class 2) HGV licence, allowing you to drive rigid HGV vehicles up to 32 tonnes professionally.

2. Your payment option will be agreed and a payment form sent to you.
3. Once payment has been received, you’ll receive your joining instructions, including your training location, arrival time and everything you’ll need to bring.
4. Attend your training on the agreed start date and begin working towards your category C licence.

• Hold a full UK category B (car) driving licence

The course runs over 5 days. On days 1 to 4 you will undertake 4 hours driver training from 8am to 12pm. On day 5 you will take your test.
