We are very proud to announce that TRS has been shortlisted for the AAC Transport & Logistics Apprenticeship Award 2024.

The FE Week/AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards is an annual event that recognises and celebrates the best apprenticeship providers in the UK. TRS has been selected as one of the finalists for the Transport & Logistics Apprenticeship Provider category.

As part of the application process, we were required to demonstrate why we feel TRS deserves the title of transport and logistics apprenticeship provider of the year. As well as being the only specialist logistics learning provider that both delivers nationally and is rated excellent by employers on the Government’s rating website, we are proud to have additional credentials that place us in a strong position. These include the work we have done using apprenticeships as a tool for increasing the number of women in logistics and for addressing skills shortages in the sector. Furthermore, we have collaborated with employers and trade associations to increase funding for logistics apprenticeships and to modify existing apprenticeship standards to better meet industry needs.

Being shortlisted for the Transport & Logistics Apprenticeship award is a fantastic end to a very productive year for TRS. The achievement would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts and achievements of all our apprentices, the support of our employer clients and invaluable collaboration with the leading logistics trade associations including the British Association of Removers, the Road Haulage Association and the UK Warehousing Association.

The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference on Tuesday, 27 February.
