Apprenticeship recruitment process

Phase 1: VACANCY REVIEW

A TRS apprentice recruitment consultant will sit down with you to review your vacancy. Together, you will agree on the final content for any job adverts, the person specification and which promotional platforms to use, depending on your target market.

Phase 2: VACANCY PROMOTION

During this phase, TRS will help you publicise your apprenticeship vacancy. This will always be on the Find An Apprenticeship website but also through other promotional vehicles including TRS social media platforms and job sites such as Indeed. In addition, we can feature your vacancy in our monthly Vacancy Bulletin which is mailed to jobseekers, community groups and partner organisations.

Phase 3: APPLICANT REVIEW

We will help you screen applicants efficiently and draw up a shortlist for interview. Once you have interviewed your applicants and chosen the successful candidate, we will provide you with all the information you need to prepare them for their apprenticeship.

Phase 4: ONBOARDING

Our learner team will liaise with you to arrange the enrolment and induction of your apprentice onto their training programme.
