Apprenticeship Progression Routes

Once a member of staff has completed their apprenticeship through TRS, we encourage them and their employers to think about progression onto further training.

Our apprenticeship programmes are structured so that staff can achieve higher level skills by progressing from a level 2 to a level 3 apprenticeship, providing a continual route for career progression in the road haulage, warehousing and logistics sector.

For example someone who completes a level 2 apprenticeship in Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driving can progress onto a level 3 apprenticeship in Team Leading. This would give them the skills and qualifications for managerial roles.

All our apprenticeship programmes provide individuals with a pathway for continued learning and career progression.

We have produced a progression routes infographic which shows what jobs our apprenticeships are linked to, what skills they provide, and what advanced apprenticeships they can lead to. It also shows what higher level jobs candidates can aim for
