Congratulations to Richard Payne of DFDS Peterborough who is on an LGV apprenticeship with TRS Training. He achieved his C+E (class 1) first time last week. Richard has shown a deep determination to succeed and complete.

A big well done to Peter Burgess from BT Northallerton who has passed his Cat C driver training and Mod 4 CPC as part of his LGV Apprenticeship. Both were first time passes, so many congratulations!

Congratulations to Lewis Hopkins of Restore Harrow Green Removals for his successful Category C pass last week! Lewis is on an LGV apprenticeship and due to complete in February 2021.

Jake Steele – Steeles Removals

Congratulations to Jake who has just completed his LGV Apprenticeship at Steeles Removals with a distinction! He achieved his Cat C licence on his first attempt back in February 2020. Jake is now progressing onto the Transport Manager Apprenticeship. As the son of the owner of Steeles Removals, Jake was employed to learn and continue the family business.

Congratulations to Wilbert Fields on an LGV apprenticeship with TRS Training, on passing his Cat C first time around. Wilbert, a mature apprentice at Sunbelt Rentals, is embarking on a new career in transport. Wilbert is doing extremely well and fits in perfectly at Aplant.

Matthew McCabe – BT Haydock

Well done to Matthew McCabe from BT Haydock on passing his Cat C and Mod 4 CPC first time.

Matt is an LGV apprentice and is excelling both in his job and on his training programme.

Matt has been working throughout lockdown keeping the telecoms operational and has become a valued member of the team. He has risen to every challenge, accepting new learning opportunities and developing understanding of all aspects of the organisation. Great work, Matthew!

Sam James - BT Cardiff

Sam works for BT Cardiff on an LGV apprenticeship. He was working throughout lockdown as a key worker keeping telecoms up and running.

Sam was the first of the BT team to gain his LGV licence, with just two minors. A great result. Sam also had to travel from Cardiff to Bristol to do the training, as Cardiff DVSA centres were still in lockdown.

Peter Burgess - BT

Congratulations from everyone at TRS to apprentice Peter Burgess and Vicky on the birth of their daughter Thea (Titan Goddess).  Peter is making excellent progress on his LGV apprenticeship at BT in Northallerton. However, now is when the real work starts!

Peter is taking a four-week break from work and his Apprenticeship to spend time with the family.

Liam Taylor – Wren Kitchens

Congratulations to Liam Taylor who is currently on an LGV Apprenticeship at Wren Kitchens in Bristol. Liam passed his Cat C driving test on 16th July, an important milestone achievement on this apprenticeship. He now has just a short time left before he completes his training programme. Well done Liam!

Reece Cox – Osbourne Removals

Many congratulations to Reece Cox of Osbourne Removals in Manchester! Reece has nearly completed an LGV Apprenticeship with TRS Training. He has just passed his Cat C licence test. Great work Recce!

Ryan Haythornthwaite – Matthew Kibble Transport

A big well done to Ryan Haythornthwaite who is employed at Matthew Kibble Transport and on an LGV Apprenticeship with TRS Training. Ryan has just passed his Cat C licence test, a milestone on his apprenticeship programme. Ryan progressed onto the LGV apprenticeship after completing TRS Training’s Warehouse to Wheels programme. It is an understatement to say he is excelling and has progressed very quickly, passing theories units and modules 3 and 4 of his programme all within 6 months. Great going, Ryan!

Daniel Hogarth - Vincent's Haulage

Congratulations to Daniel Hogarth of Vincent’s Haulage  who has just achieved a Cat C pass at first attempt with just 2 minors! Brilliant result! Vincent’s Haulage are a transport company based in Wigan in the North West of England with over 60 years of experience. Daniel is doing extremely well and is now 50% the through his LGV apprenticeship.

Anghelus Histrate - Wren Kitchens

Anghelus Istrate, who works for Wren Kitchens, completed his LGV apprenticeship in January 2020, gaining a distinction. He is now qualified to drive a large goods vehicle. In the longer term, he aims to progress to working in the traffic office or even training drivers himself..

Peter Silverwood - Boughey Distribution Nantwich, Cheshire.

Peter is on an LGV apprenticeship and in January 2020 he achieved his Cat C licence on the first attempt. He is now continuing his training so he completes the apprenticeship with a view to possibly progressing onto Cat C+E next year.

Rhys Lee – Nagel Langdons

Rhys is an apprentice LGV driver at Nagel Langdons in Kirkby, Merseyside. He achieved his Cat C licence on his first attempt in March 2020. He aims to finish his apprenticeship and complete his Cat C+E licence next year.

Stephen Carney – Nagel Langdons

Stephen is an apprentice LGV driver at Nagel Langdons in Kirkby, Merseyside. He achieved his Cat C licence on his first attempt in March 2020. He aims to finish his apprenticeship and complete his Cat C+E licence next year.

Shane Trickett – North West Logistics

Shane is an LGV apprentice for North West Logistics. He is now driving solo having passed his LGV Cat C licence. In the picture above, Shane is busy securing his load, ready to deliver to key businesses supporting the manufacturing industry
