Terms & Conditions for Bolt-On Courses

  • Apprentices may choose a combination of TRS/TRS partner courses up to the value of 100 credits
  • Credits cannot be transferred to other apprentices or members of staff.
  • This offer is currently available to apprentices who commence their TRS apprenticeship between 1st May 2024 and 1st November 2024
  • All courses must be booked through the TRS Booking Team. Courses booked with our partners directly will not be eligible for payment by TRS.
  • Apprentices must have been in learning for a minimum of 9 months with TRS before credits can be used.
  • Credits will pay for one instance of each course. Any retests or further training is not payable by TRS.
  • Credits used to book a course which is cancelled by the apprentice less than 4 weeks before the start date will be seen as used credits, and will not be reissued
  • Courses chosen by the apprentice are subject to approval by their employer
  • Credits must be used whilst still in learning and expire as soon as the learner achieves or leaves
  • If the apprentice withdraws from their apprenticeship, any credit allowance and/or courses booked will be cancelled
